Suzuki 'Top Oil' Top1 ACK Attack's 900 HP Twin 2600cc Suzuki Hayabusa EnginesDenis Manning of BUB Enterprises in Grass Valley, California, is the current LSR holder, breaking the briefly-held record set on September 02, 2006 by Mike Akatiff's ACK Attack. Manning's BUB Streamliner Seven, piloted by AMA flat-track champion Chris Carr, set a new world LSR of 350.884 mph on September 05, 2006.
The initial pass (1 Mile w/ Flying Start) hit a top speed of 344.673 mph, with the return pass at 340.922 mph. Previous record was set in 1990 by Team Harley-Davidson's 'Easyriders' Liner' and Dave Campos, topping 322 mph (518.450km/h). The ACK Attack's record would be fleeting, with the Denis Manning 'BUB Streamliner Seven' setting a new world LSR of 350.884 mph on September 05, 2006. The BUB Streamliner #7, piloted by AMA flat-track champion Chris Carr, also achieved a record-setting one way pass at 354.832 mph through the measured mile.
